Every other year, a talented company of local entertainers join forces to bring this popular musical extravaganza to life on the stage at Lincoln Theater Napa Valley in Yountville. Well known as a fun and entertaining experience for participants and audiences alike, Follies du Valle is also an important fundraiser that has supported the performing arts in our valley by donating its proceeds to Lincoln Theater since 1997.
And it is that time again! Follies returns to the Lincoln Theater on March 5-7, 2010 with a wildly zany production titled Follies du Valle: It’s About Time, featuring musical numbers organized around a theme of time.
We are excited to announce that all proceeds from this production go directly to performing arts scholarships for children in our community. Our goal is to send 50 Napa Valley children to the 2010 Lincoln Theater Napa Valley Youth Performing Arts Program. Staffed by theater professionals from around the country, this outstanding studio workshop program provides an invaluable opportunity for our children to explore and develop their talents, enhance their self-esteem and get experience working as part of a team. At a time when budget cuts are forcing so many of our schools to eliminate arts education, Follies is proud to offer this opportunity to our local children.
